Job Seeking For the Emigrated Technical Worker

Job seeking is not an easy task to tackle. It gets even more challenging if you are job seeking in a foreign country after recently emigrating. Competition is high and there are numerous obstacles that will get in how of getting a job. As a complex worker, concentrating on the challenges will not make job seeking any easier. Most important in writing a specialized CV is to accentuate your technical skills and to be noticeable among other applicants.

At the beginning of your technical CV, you have to let the employer know who you are and what you do. After the typical name and contact information section, you must solicit yourself and your skills in a brief section describing you as a professional. If you are a computer programmer seeking a job, entitle this section "Highly Qualified Programmer." In three to four sentences, explain how long you have been in the industry, areas in which you have a solid knowledge, and areas of expertise. Since you are a specialized worker, you're selling yourself with your technical skills. Do not imply what skills you have by simply listing your previous work experience.
